The green revolution!
The European Tree Planting Day is a movement that wants to unite communities across Europe to plant trees simultaneously.
From municipalities, companies, NGOs to individuals, they all join forces in a collective effort to combat climate change through the simple yet powerful act of planting trees.
Let's plant!
For the third year running, the European Tree Planting Day is bringing people together across Europe to make a difference through tree planting.
Whether you are a tree-planting organisation, an NGO, a municipality, or a school, you can participate in the EUTPD by registering your tree-planting event between mid-November and mid-February.
Let's mobilise as many people as possible across Europe. Join us!
Win a prize!
Take part in EUTPD 2026, and you could win €2,500 for your organisation!
Every organisation that registers and holds a tree-planting event between 15 November 2026 and 15 February 2027 will automatically enter the contest. We are looking for initiatives that demonstrate outstanding community engagement, environmental impact and the potential to create lasting positive change.
Whether through one event or several, show us how you are bringing people together for nature. Good luck!
