FUNDEM

FUNDEM, Fundación Enrique Montoliu, based in Spain, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving Mediterranean ecosystems. Established in 1996, the foundation works to restore and protect native flora and fauna by acquiring and managing ecologically significant land. Their efforts include creating and preserving habitats, such as the renowned Jardín de l’Albarda, and replanting native tree species to support biodiversity. FUNDEM also raises public awareness about environmental conservation and the urgent need for sustainable practices. They will be organising tree planting events in the Spanish region for the European Tree Planting Day.
