Green Gaia Foundation

Slovenia has already a lot of trees (it's Europe's 3rd most densely forested country), but the people behind The Green Gaia Foundation believe that even more trees and the planting of different species can still contribute a lot of value to cities and rural communities. Together with primary schools they organise environmental education campaigns in combination with symbolic tree plantings around school yards, in order to raise more awareness for the multiple advantages trees offer to us as humans as well as local biodiversity.

Green Gaia Foundation is partnering with the European Tree Planting Day focusing their tree planting effort in Slovenia.
