Planting a new forests near Iasi with ABN AMRO Clearing
During our first tree planting event with ABN AMRO Clearing in Romania, volunteers helped to plant 1500 trees in the area of Podu Iloaiei, close to Iași. In a collaboration with Land Life Company and our local partner Plantam Fapte Bune, we created a new climate resilient forest. Despite the weather being chilly, the participants went to work enthusiastically. It was especially great to see that some volunteers brought their children as well, to plant a forest that they will hopefully see flourish in decades to come!
We also want to highlight our partner Plantam Fapte Bune, who have managed and facilitated this event. We have worked with this wonderful organisation in Romania now for multiple years and we are very impressed by the community based reforestation projects they have been able to set up in the area.
