Collective action can have a more significant impact. By joining forces, we bring tree planting and its importance in combating climate change into the spotlight.
The Dutch Life Terra team joined NVM Haaglanden and Stichting Greenbookings for a meaningful planting initiative in the beautiful Staelduinse Bos near Hoek van Holland. Parts of this forest are currently dominated by maple trees and at risk of ecological decline, so planting a diverse mix of species is essential to keep the woodland healthy and resilient.
NVM Haaglanden — the regional branch of the Dutch association of real estate agents (NVM) — has made an inspiring commitment: for every home sold in 2025, one new tree will be planted. With over 160 participating offices, the collective impact is already significant.
By September, the campaign had reached around 7,800 trees planted, with a shared goal of achieving 10,000 trees by the end of the year. During the planting day, estate agents added their own tree to the forest — a simple but powerful act of giving back to nature.
At Life Terra, we’re proud to support this initiative.
A big thank you to NVM Haaglanden and Greenbookings for their dedication and collaboration.
On to 10,000 trees — and beyond!
