Collective action can have a more significant impact. By joining forces, we bring tree planting and its importance in combating climate change into the spotlight.
In early December, we enjoyed an extremely productive afternoon of planting with our clients Heimstaden at the lovely Beukenhorst Estate in Brabend. In common with many forests around Europe, the estate's forests have been afflicted by ash dieback disease and this tree planting initiative was designed to reforest, and also extend, an area of woodland whose diseased ash trees had been felled. The team worked fast and furiously, planting 650 trees and breaking no less than three spades in the process! After three hours we could stand back and admire the beautiful beginnings of this new, mixed, native woodland, which has been designed to withstand the site's wet soil. Thank you Heimstaden and the Beukenhorst Estate for a lovely afternoon and all your wonderful efforts! We can't wait to witness the site's evolution.
