Greenbookings tree planting event at De Natuurkamer
What a fantastic way to kick off the new planting season in The Netherlands! Together with 30 enthusiastic members of Greenbookings, we planted 1,000 mixed species, native trees at the beautiful Natuurkamer in Amsterdam-West — a lush, nature-rich spot where visitors can learn, play, and reconnect with the outdoors right in the heart of the city.
The purpose of the planting was to increase the tree cover and shade around key areas of the park, and to boost local biodiversity by planting dense areas of bushy trees.
It was a wonderful day spent planting, connecting, and enjoying this green oasis in Amsterdam. Here’s to many more moments like these and a flourishing planting season ahead!
