Collective action can have a more significant impact. By joining forces, we bring tree planting and its importance in combating climate change into the spotlight.
Last Friday, 28th, CEIP Ponce de León carried out a pine and oak tree planting initiative in which all the school's pupils, the Campiña Viva Association, Torredonjimieno Town Council and all the families who wanted to join us took part. In total, more than 200 people participated and 120 trees were planted.
It was a day of togetherness in which values towards the environment and sustainability were promoted among all participants.
We hope to continue participating in many more initiatives like these.
