Expanding our forest near Warsaw with Mapletree
During a chilly but sunny autumn afternoon, volunteers from our partner Mapletree helped to plant 1000 trees in the area of Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, close to Warsaw. This initiative is part of our broader support for reforestation in the area, marking the third year that we have planted trees in the riparian zone next to the Narew river together with our local partner Aeris Futuro.
These new forests will boost biodiversity in this essential ecosystem for many species of birds and insects. We are therefore very grateful for the ongoing support of our partner Mapletree and for Aeris Futuro managing and facilitating this project!
