Afternoon reforestation Politie Rotterdam Staelduinse Bos
On a windy and cold afternoon, over a dozen members of Politie Rotterdam joined us in the Staelduinsebos to help restore a part of the forest within the Rotterdam borders. In spite of the uninviting weather conditions, the volunteers showed strength and resilience, and planted efficiently all the saplings that had been prepared by the foresters. We were as delighted as Zuid-Hollands Landschap with whom we also planted, sharing sweat and ideas in a stimulating yet challenging environment. This collaboration between the police and Life Terra keeps flourishing, and promises further positive tree planting actions to come.
