Pollinators treevember event at Het Groente Genootschap
Het Groente Genootschap is a self-harvest garden located in Netherlands. It offers members the opportunity to weekly harvest local vegetables, herbs, and small fruits cultivated according to biological and ecological principles. The initiative emphasizes enhancing biodiversity, soil health, and fostering a strong local community.
In November 2024, Het Groente Genootschap participated in Treevember, a campaign organized by The Pollinators, aiming to raise funds for planting a biodiverse hedge, additional fruit trees and shrubs, and initiating a potential future food forest. The planting event took place on November 26, 2024.
