Pollinators treevember event at Ecodorp land van aine
Ecodorp Land van Aine is an ecovillage project located in Ter Apel, Netherlands, dedicated to transforming a neglected industrial site into a sustainable community featuring vegetable gardens, herb gardens, a food forest, small-scale enterprises, and approximately 30 to 50 eco-friendly homes. In November 2024, Ecodorp Land van Aine participated in Treevember, a campaign organized by The Pollinators, to raise funds for establishing food forests on their grounds, particularly around their camping areas and ponds.
A planting event was organized on Saturday, November 16, 2024, where participants planted various fruit trees and berry bushes and received information on creating and maintaining a food forest.
