Creating a Woven Hedge at Boerderij Hartstocht near Abcoude
Chilly Dutch weather didn't deter a strong, hardy group of mariners and ship engineers during Reederei Nord's woven hedge planting event in Abcoude on 11th December! The group made swift progress along a 600m stretch of farmland, and soon the beginnings of the hedge were clear to see. We can't wait to see - and to share - how this hedge evolves to become a haven for local biodiversity, as well as a delicious source of fresh berries for local ramblers!
